The G-Man himself...

Smitten is as smitten does... 'eh Aspen? ;)
LOL Scooby night
As Aspen says on her blog, we went out to Scooby2 and had a blast. And Aspen let loose a couple Freudian slips.

((As she was playing the Lord of the Rings Pinball game at the theatre)) "But I like it with two balls!" -Very excited voice-
The problem is I don't have that great of memory and since I got my Playstation 2 last night and ended up playing various games until 2:30 am - I can't remember the other quote. Maybe one of the girls will ;)

Wow!
I think these guys live around Oak - if not - where are they, cuz they are kinda cute in their own silly way ;-)

Make sure to have your sound up and it is a video - be prepared. --->Likes the one up front =-)

So much...
Still grading-

Blew out my computer speakers... Seems that green spot on my TV does come from static electricity in the room and caused by the metal loft above it. One night while walking by my TV (turned on) I touched the screen and the green spot had moved (I was hanging onto the metal loft). Big idea, so I started sweeping my hand all over the TV screen and finally made the green coloring go away - but in the process I must have killed my poor speaker closest to the TV, because that one makes a "shhhk ksshh ssshkiii" sound and the other speaker is fine but with a 'lil "shh".

So, next year we will stay away from metal lofts - we will get the TV magnetized (degaussed or whatever) and then I won't have to deal with green Martian people on my TV. :-)

I was told today that I was accepted for the Summer Writing conference! I will be Dr. Morgans assistant! Yay! I was wishing I had signed up last year, but now I know I just needed the right subject to come up (Blogs) and I would be good to go. :D

My flowers are all starting to wilt =( Worst part of getting flowers. They are so beautiful and then slowly they all fall apart - but oh my room has smelled like a florists shop. Poor Aspen had to endure it as she spent most of the weekend hanging out and helping me study for German.

Don't get me started on that subject, though. It takes up practically every minute of my life - I worry too much for someone that is only 25. No wonder why I have that lil white hair - it was German! hehe But, dreams do linger in the air and I would still love to go overseas and work on a Doctorate. Not a dream - but perhaps an ultimate goal that will make me inexplicably exuberant.

Now: for your viewing enjoyment - ala beads (Xander at play)

fun fun fun
All of the dorms blacked out - of course the dorm I am and RA in has NO emergency lighting. The whole floor went pitch black and I was in a residents room watching TV and had to walk through the worst dark hallway I have ever gone through - got to my room, stumbled about to find my flashlight and then had time to run down my hallway to make sure none of the residents that were screaming and running around with glee would hurt themselves. Having them in the stairways made me nervous - especially the group that had NO lights and were running. sheesh people, use your common sense!

So, until the servers are all fixed on BSU - my images will all be missing.

Due to unforseen occurrences...
Aspen and I turned back from one full day of driving from bemidji to Miles City Montana and came right back to Fargo. Aspen was hussled onto her 4:15 flight and I sat in the airport for a good hour until my mom was able to pick me up. I guess not all Spring Trips are to be had. Just sending my thoughts on to Aspen and her family. /big 'ole hugs to my adopted Texas family!

We did get to the hotel at 9pm saturday night and watched an hour of Deep Blue Sea - which is funny if you think about it. We went to Montana to go watch that movie on a 'lil 12 inch TV and an old school remote. Montana was gorgeous, though!

It's already Tuesday and I don't know what I'm doing... just laying around and reading. But, hey - it's what I like to do. At least FM90 is playing some music I remember from Highschool - '94-'97ish rocky/grungey stuff. Yaaay! Wow, congrats on the new website guys, a lot of improvement. I was going to go crazy if that huge banner was going to be the whole of the page through my college years.

As most people know, spring break is here and so I have to say farewell for a full week as I and Aspen head to the mountains.

I hope you all have a great week and hopefully I'll have all sorts of things to tell you when I get back.

Hot...
Can the dorms get ANY hotter? Gah. I felt that I shouldn't skip wednesdays post - so here I am!

A budding part of my plant - it seems to love being at the window and next to my humidifier.

A gift from my mom this last summer - if I remember right, from graduation. As close to an Eolian harp as I can get.

Blog me tender.. blog me true

What is thought? Is it the impulse from the brain? Is it nonsensical words cascading into rivulets that are eventually made into a series of coherent meanings? Can it be all just a symbol system of which we can never understand? Can it be that I have no idea what I am talking about?

Well, yes.

That is the answer. yes.

Anything you ask, is yes. Or, more poignantly, Indeed.

I turned on the radio just a few mins ago, hoping for some song that I know... but instead, my ears were molested by some screaming girl and bad percussion. Some kind of punk song. I tolerated it for a few debilitating minutes, just to make sure that my first reaction of disgust and dismay were accurate. Yes. They were. Indeed, the song was repulsive and so an impulse of electrifying mass (or un-mass) stressed my arm muscles and the little dial was turned to the off position once again.

Do you think God has one of those switches? He sees something going on in the world, and he gets interested or disgusted and turns off his vision? Wouldn't it be horrible to see ALL?

Indeed. I would personally disengage the replay button. Maybe put in a pause, so I could go get a drink or take a breather.

It would be like TIVO for the dieties. Indeed, what a world we live in, huh?

Or maybe I'm just tired - what a L o N g day!

Mountains may be good and all...

But, this kind of stuff seems to make me wonder...

Colorado recruiting scandal
Suspended coaches...
and officials at the college saying it isn't their fault - which I can agree to - as an RA, we see that we can't be responsible for others, it's just an impossible task.
